  • Service Provider/Processor: Vendors who process PI for us under contract and cannot use it for other purposes.

  • Consumer: California resident acting in a personal/household capacity.

3. Notice at Collection (What We Collect, Why, & Retention)

We collect certain categories of Personal Information (“PI”) to operate CCS Connect, provide services, and meet our legal obligations. Below we explain what we collect, why we collect it, how long we typically retain it, and whether it is sold or shared for advertising.

  • Identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, account ID, and IP address. We use these to create and manage accounts, provide services, maintain security, and offer customer support. We generally retain this information for the life of your account plus up to three years. We do not sell or share this information.

  • Commercial information such as subscription details, purchases, and records of product interactions. We use this for billing, account management, and analytics. We typically retain this data for the life of your account plus three years. We do not sell or share this information.

  • Internet or device information such as IP address, browser type, device details, and pages visited. We use this for site functionality, security, analytics, and service improvements. Retention is generally 24 months for analytics data, with shorter retention for security logs. We do not sell or share this information.

  • Professional or business information such as your company name and role or title. We use this to configure services and communicate with you in a business-to-business capacity. We retain this data for the life of your account plus three years. We do not sell or share this information.

  • Financial and billing information such as billing addresses and limited payment details (note: payments are processed by PCI DSS–compliant providers). We use this information to process payments and prevent fraud. Invoices are typically kept for seven years to meet tax and accounting requirements. We do not sell or share this information.

  • Communications data such as support tickets, chat logs, and emails. We use this to provide customer support, training, quality assurance, and compliance. We generally retain these records for three years. We do not sell or share this information.

  • Connected platform data that you choose to sync from third-party systems such as QuickBooks Online, Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, JobNimbus, or GoHighLevel. We use this data to power dashboards and reporting that you request. We retain this data while your integration remains connected and up to twelve months after disconnection, unless you direct us otherwise. We do not sell or share this information.

  • Sensitive Personal Information (SPI): CCS Connect does not actively collect sensitive categories of data such as Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, or racial/ethnic origin. If such information is provided inadvertently, we restrict and delete it where feasible. We do not use SPI to infer characteristics, and we do not sell or share SPI.

    13. International Data Transfers

If PI is transferred to countries with different data-protection laws (e.g., from the EU/UK to the U.S.), we use lawful transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other appropriate safeguards.

    14. Processors / Service Providers & Contracts

We bind processors via Data Processing Agreements requiring: confidentiality, appropriate security measures, restricted use, assistance with data subject requests, and deletion/return of PI at end of services. We conduct proportional vendor diligence and refresh access regularly.

    15. Financial Incentives

We do not offer programs that provide payments or discounts in exchange for the sale/share of PI. If we introduce such programs, we will disclose required terms and obtain opt-in consent.
